The Quarterlife Crisis:
The quarterlife crisis, or QLC, is essentially a period of anxiety, uncertainty and inner turmoil that often accompanies the transition to adulthood. The "quarterlife crisis" was coined by Abby Wilner, co-author of Quarterlife Crisis and Quarterlifer's Companion, in 1997 after she graduated from college, moved back home, and couldn't figure out what to do with her life. Essentially, it is taking longer to become an adult today based on traditional markers such as financial independence and starting a family. The average American job hops 8 times before the age of 32, the average college graduate accrues $20,000 in education loan debt, and the average age to get married is now 27.
With a focus on the age group 13-28, Project NextGen has created three flagship programs directly related to each subgroup in the Millennial Generation.
Pre-Crisis (ages 13-17)
The LEAP Program helps youth and teens identify their purpose, overcome their limiting beliefs, enhance peer relationships, and develop a plan for reaching their true potential.
Using a strategic coaching process, the LEAP Program teaches youth greater respect for the choices they make, increased confidence in themselves, better problem solving skills, stronger, and more commitment towards their future.

Near-Crisis (ages 18-22) Career Jumpstart
Our Career Jumpstart Program focuses on students at the college/university level who are learning to examine their priorities, determine their goals, and leverage their education with the career they are excited to enter in the near future.
During this period, most students are confused as to their future and the decisions they have made regarding their "career". Providing them with the best tools available to understand their skill sets and create a clear plan is essential to their continued success.

• Career Coaching
In-Crisis (ages 23-28)
The Workforce 2.0 program focuses on young professionals transitioning into the "Real World".
Any transition in life takes motivation and continued personal development, however in changing times and an altered generational mentality, it is essential organizations address a communication & leadership gap in order to retain and develop their future leaders.
